If I were to die tomorrow...

If I were to die tomorrow I would die happy, not because you are with her, but because you were happy with her.

I would remember all the times you saved me from myself and all the times you caught me when I was falling.

I would hope that whatever girl you end up with will realize how lucky she is to have a guy like you by her side and not take you for granted.

I would understand the meaning of true love: wanting happiness and what is best for the other person no matter what it costs.

I now know I can die happy because everyday I look at your happiness and realize I did the right thing by not holding on and letting you go when you wanted to.

Seeing you happy is what allowed me to live.
