How will anything get better
and when will honesty be our reality?
sure we can hurt ourselves
by keeping it all inside
we'll just tell ourselves were doing everyone a favour
and as we break down and cry
its all because were ignoring the fact
that were just living a lie
How long can we keep this up
are we trying to set a record?
lets see how long we can keep it together
before our insides begin to ache
thats when we realize
we caused each others heart break
When the stress gets to you
and you feel like giving in
you just wanna pass out
and never wake-up again
thats when you'll finally feel peaceful
or atleast look that way
and thats what too many of us do
we just fake it through the day
They know when something just isn't right
and even though the show must go on
we cant always be strong
sometimes we just need to fall apart
it's the ending of a hard battle
and the beginning of a new start
we say what we don't know cant hurt us
but the truth will eventually be told
and even though the truth hurts
friends will be there for us to hold.
