Mel... Please find a safe place to get help if your father is this way. A daddy would never do these things, a father might. Any male can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a "dad." I feel so sad for you after just submitting a poem called "A Daddy's Love" about a girl that came to live with our family. She has a lousy father also, but not one that beat her.
