You only care
when your all alone
your never there
you never phone
we have a baby
but you'd never guess
I always thought maybe
you were doing your best
You left me here all alone
with our baby and no where to go
you tell me in that familiar tone
that you need your space to grow
you can't be a dad
cause you'll never grow up
you turned away which is really sad
she's grown so much, she can drink from a cup
but you turned your back on her
you cheated, you lied
her memories of you will just be a blur
but it's okay, you signed your own, I'll tell her you died!!!
I wrote this poem in the "heat" of the moment, I was angry, but I said what need yo be said. I have no regrets.
