You left me here

by silence   Jul 28, 2006

You left me here to suffer
You left me here to die
Now I sit alone in my room
Trying not to cry

You seemed so perfect
Like an angel in disguise
But I guess you were the devil
Showing me my demise

I thought you were so happy
On that dreadful day
I could never have imagined
That you would go away.

But now I sit and wonder
If everything you said was true
I had trusted it all
Even when you said "I love you"

How could you love someone
And then just let them go
How could you just walk away
When you have feelings left to show

I am now heartbroken
And I will love no more
So lay this on my coffin
And on my life shut the door.

"Even when you said â??I love youâ??"

Just to let you know. When you copy and past your poem from an outside source, some of the symbols, like apostrophes turn into the jibberish you see. So just edit it and you'll be fine. A really nice poem.
