I freeze

I freeze,
every time I look into deep crevasses of light hazel.
My blood pressure rises along with the rate of my fast pumping heart.
My mind shuts off, and I forget everything I was going to say.
I look at you, and my eyes swell up with rich cool tears.
And that’s when I realized, not a star in heaven was out of place tonight, and not a breath was to short.
And all this was because you told me you loved me
