Crying in the night

This poem was written for a special boy that came into my life.

I cried last night,
no one could hear.
I felt so lonely,
because you were not near.

I cried and cried,
all through the night.
I could not stop crying,
for you're out of sight.

Your picture in a frame,
on the table next to me.
I touch your beautiful face,
you're my little honeybee.

But you re not mine,
you're not my son.
I miss you so much,
a love for you undone.

I cry and cry,
I can't let go.
Do you know how I feel?
A desire to know.

I see your face,
and fall asleep.
My love for you,
in my heart to keep!
