Magic Ink

by goddess-glamourpuss   Jul 29, 2006

There is a little pixie
Who paints some daisies pink
He gently dabs the petals edge
With his magic ink

These flowers act as markers
To create an enchanted ring
Where all the fairies gather
To play and laugh and sing

By moonlight do they revel
Until the coming dawn
Then back beneath a leaf they hide
With a sleepy-headed yawn

So when you see a daisy
With petals painted pink
Then you will know the secret
Of the pixie's magic ink

If you are very quiet
And very slowly creep
Then carefully look beneath a leaf
You could find a fairy asleep.

This was a very well considered poem, about the established child's favourite: the pixie ring. Although shouldn't the pixies be women? :p

    Very nicely done, 5/5.

This is a really cute poem, I love how you used fantasy in it. Fairies are my favourite mystical creatures so I really enjoyed this poem.
