This Dreadful Night

It rained a lot tonight
as i lay here dying
it was a pain i couldn't fight
he just started laughing

i didn't want to die
it was just not my time
i tried so hard not to cry
as i paid for his crime

i had one too many drinks
there he stood staring at me
he takes my hand and winks
takes me to a place no one could see

i was too drunk to fight
he just had his way with me
i was raped this dreadful night
my innocence he forced free

a body torn apart
eyes burning from tears
a man with no heart
he exploited all my fears

i promised i wouldn't say a thing
as he stood there with a smile
but than he stabbed me
and left me here to die
