Remember

I need to be free
from all this pain and misery
but everytime I try
I start to cry and cry
I can never stop
I wish I could just drop
my heart cant mend
this will hopefully be the end
but its not for
when I sit by myself I get
all these flashbacks...
I dont know why they come back
then I remember how
I sit on the floor
I locked the door
blood is dripping from me
a flood has become from tears
I can see the sharpness if a
knife hit my skin and
blood dripping from within
Most of the time I wish
I would have died
but now all I can do is cry
Thats what I remember

    This poem is extremely good too. I agree that the imagery and emotion are both very strong. It's just very descriptive.. i like it...

    If this is really going on though. I hope things get better for you .. I know how it is.. I've been there.. I'm still there. It's an ongoing struggle, so I hope if you ever want to talk just let me know..

    Man what a great poem. Alot of emotion in this poem. Th imagry is great. I love the flow of the poem. Nothing i can really see that needs correction.
