Homecoming queen has heart brakes too.

by Go Away Rain.   Jul 30, 2006

As soon as I said I loved you,
I wished you didn't know,
Because I knew someday,
I'd have to let you go.
I listened to my favorite song,
While holding your hand,
And in that moment all the agony,
Was gone.
You held me close,
As we laid on your bed,
And my heart pounded,
When you rested your head,
Upon my chest,
You feel asleep.
I remembered the night,
We both looked our best,
With never running mascara,
Smeared on my dress,
I wiped my tears with my sleeve,
Yeah the one with the heart on it,
When I turned to leave,
I remember the words that were never spoken,
I tried to choke down my tears,
But my heart was broken,
I kicked off my high heels,
And walked on the highway,
Now I know how love feels,
Always ending in dismay,
I know hitchhiking is a danger,
But I didn't care,
Life isn't worth living,
If you're not there,
