The empty feeling in my stomach
tells that I've been hurt
the twinkle in his eyes
says he's a flirt
the grin on his face
says he has lied
the making running down my face
says that i have cried
the note that's ripped up
means he broke my heart
the girl in his arms
means we're apart

Apart is the word
that means i am alone
the hurt inside
will someday show
"he treated me like dirt"
i heard it may times
i slowly realized the truth
after his last painful crimes

although i want him back
i know i will be dead
not only in his eyes
but in the back of my head
he won't ever really love me
or care about my tears
he left me here
alone with all my fears

i know on truth in those eyes

no more promises that turn into lies
