Bubbles

by Michele   Jul 30, 2006

I watch the lazy path of the bubble float
softly passed the glowing smile of my toddling child
Hers at the moment is a world caught in the perfect
the perfect roundness and swirling colors of the bubble as it floats down
Zigzagging past my daughter's outstretched arms it gets away from her
The squeals of delight escape her innocent mouth
the bubble explodes like rainbow droplets
against the hot deck in the summer sun
