Forget me && ill move on

Just forget i was ever there
wipe away my existence
tear me apart
and leave me to fend for myself
all alone in this darkness
with nothing but the night stars
but they don't shine bright enough
as i walk this desolate path
attempting to gather my thoughts
find lost pieces of my soul
glue it all together
finding gaps along the way
they're from you
not being there when i needed
its not your fault
you simply don't care
i gather as much as i can
but lose more along the way
never fully regaining strength
to leave these thoughts of you behind
to find myself among
the many cracks in the sidewalks
when i trip && fall
and lose it all again
locating the hole
that will never be forgotten
left there not only by you
but all those that you follow
till it has dug in so deep
that the broken pieces
finally suffocate me
and i realize i must just wait
until a time when you
or someone else
finds me here
and helps me back up
and mends all the broken pieces
and i can finally live again
