I have been thrust into a brand new role.
One I have no experience in and don\'t know the toll.
I have to be the best that i can possibly be.
For this isnt just about me.
I have to be stronger, wiser, and hold up the fort.
For failure is no resort.
I have to be wise beyond my years.
And give up all of those petty fears.
For all the things that i used to think i knew.
This one thing is all i know to be true.
For all the things in life that can just be had
This is one that cant, I just became a DAD.
