I wanted to say "I love you"
Ever since I met you.
But you went out with my best friend.
So I thought "That will never happen."
"How can I love you,
When she loves you too?"
Then you guys had a fight,
and things between you just weren't right.
Prom was on its way,
But you guys couldn't think of what to say.
You wondered if you guys were suppose to be together.
You said that you'd be together forever.
But then she told you to ask me.
And we could go together and be happy.
And I was happy,
and finally,
I was with the guy I loved.
