You

by Anthony   Jul 31, 2006

You are the first thing that enters my mind
When I wake to the morning sun
The last to leave at the dark hours
Lit by the cold moon light when
My mind drifts to sleep

I rise to the skies when I hear your voice
Like an angel melody your laugh
Sends me to an eternal bliss
Where I seem to be stuck
When I'm around you

The words that form in my mind
End up stuck in my throat for no known reason
Things I want to say won't come out
But when I look into your eyes I see you already know.
That's what I'm trying to say is I love you.

The last stanza stands out because it's so sweet! Yeah...most girls already know that you love them before you say the words. We have a kind of radar lol.
Great love poem, keep it up, sweetie.

    Take care,

Woah, that was great. The poem was very well written and I greatly enjoyed reading it 5 times. It wasn't complex and it was not difficult to understand yet it was not simple either. Great write!
