You've Changed Me Forever

by Brianna   Jul 31, 2006

I saw your face,
So entrancing.
I heard your voice,
So bold and dreamy.
And when you smiled,
My bones turned to rubber.
If our eyes happened to contact,
I would melt in a split second.

Once again I see your face,
But it tears at my heart.
Your voice still echoes in my mind,
It sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
And your smile,
Its unbearable to see.
If your eyes find mine,
I look away, nearly in tears.

Ever since you hurt me,
I've never been able to forgive you.
Your presence hurts too much,
It nearly kills me.
When you're around,
Instead of a smile,
I give a deep sigh.
You've scarred me for life.
