What I Told Her

I told her to go away
But she just won't listen to me
She follows me around the room
Why won't she let me be?

I told her I hated her
I said it was her fault I'm this way
It's her fault I hate myself
She took my happiness away

I told her this is my life
There's no room for her in it
If she comes near I'll turn away
She'll just have to deal with it

I told her no one liked her
That she if she died no one would care
She should just get it over with
So she's no longer my burden to bare

"I told you to leave me alone"
I yelled at the mirror on my wall
Still she didn't look away
But continued allowing my tears to fall.
