Im reliving the past and Im seriously missing it now
Just thinking about when it all started and how
It was April and I walked through the BX with you
Thinking my time there would never be through
We talked on the phone and started the book
Dont forget when Timi decided to take a look
We made names for the guys and one of them always found out
Scotch tape and cherry blossom seemed to constantly make us pout
We went through 1,2,3 and the jolly rancher face
Getting soaked from my toes up to my waist
Then came around May gosh time moved so fast
I cant believe that all of this in the past
I busted out the tennis balls the and stole the watches as well
Oh so many secrets we had to tell
What else happened that month what things did we do?
I remember now one of your fears came true
Along a few of mine
And everything seemed like it snuck up on us from behind
They got together, you guys broke up
For the two of us that week just really sucked
And of course during that week what had to take place?!
I got really sick and I stayed home while you guys had fun around base
Eventually I got better but I had to go for a few days
We stayed up all night cmailing with the little random things wed say
I remember the day you came to see us dance
Across the stage you watched us prance
We tried to make sense of love.. that didnt work
After that depression always seemed to lurk
And I guess we was right cause May turned into June
And we realized I would be moving soon.
He asked me out and we went crazy happy
And then we discovered he was pretty sappy
6 days after I had to board a plane
All the crying in the hall was kinda hard to explain
Sarah, my husband (inside joke), youre my very bestest friend
And Ill love till the very end
