To Let Her Good Heart Go

by Sarah Ann   Jul 31, 2006

The pain sinks in with every song
Tears fill her eyes not before long
Mascara coats her broken face
It's useless, this is not her place

He stares at her, but she ignores
What hurts is that she closed her doors
Her soul yearns but one doesn't know
She's scared to let her good heart go

And as every moment passes by
She forbids broken wings to fly
Afraid cupid may bid her soul
Of love she wants no part at all

She's scared...to let her good heart go

Omg, Sarah. This was really sad. And for some weird reason in my head, I thought it would go really well as a song. Anyways, It was written really well, just sad. Loved how you ended it though, very strong. Keep it up, and smile, mmkay? 5/5
