The Downside of a Dream

If all we have to live for are the dreams of letting go

why does it hurt so bad, why do we let it show

when we know what is coming and should expect the end

we loose all positivity and adapt a sadder trend

why do we raise our hopes so high only to see them fall

to be crushed by those to don't seem to care at all

i know that this is not over, that there is a second chance

i know that i can't give up after tripping through the dance

so gracefully we take the dive yet disaster it will spell

to gain back hope of a wish only time can tell

with Patience we'll wait and find our place of self esteem

with anxiousness and hopefulness we will live out a dream.
