So long

by graffiti   Aug 1, 2006

Say your final words.
The world stands still,
as you fall apart.
You're a broken mirror,
bad luck and shattered.
As bold as the rose,
that lays upon your coffin door.
So beautiful, so fragile.
Laying peaceful
within watching eyes.
What was once alive,
breathing,
now lays still.
Forever sleeping,
within the cherry wood chest,
beneath the earth.
So long my love.
