Behind That Door

by manic moments   Aug 1, 2006

Behind a door, painted black
Lays a hidden old track
Blistering winds whipping past
As I reach the ending at last

Trailing tears leading away
A lost little soul, gone astray
I'm ready to bleed, I'm ready to die
Behind that door, to hide and cry

So many secrets
So many promising regrets
Hidden behind that door
I won't hurt anymore

I'm sorry I wasn't they're dreams
I'm sorry they had to hear my final screams
Behind a door, lost to life
I start to cry and grab that knife

Behind a door, hiding a secret trail
All the thoughts of how I will never fail
I make a choice, I'm sorry girls, I am
But I have to stick to this plan

There it goes, there drains my life
Falling in rivers from this knife
Behind that door
I won't live anymore

Drained, falling from hope
Stalling, how to cope
Behind that door
I have slowly fallen to the floor

Behind that door
Lost, drained to the core
I'm sorry I wasn't they're dreams
I'm sorry they had to hear my final screams

Behind That Door
I Don't Live Anymore
