Shameless

by Melissa   Aug 1, 2006

JC is a blob of a man,
he acts like a monkey
locked in a zoo
he bewilders me
with his Christianity claims
through soiled gums
and that filthy tongue
that bashes everyone
in a sarcastic, teeth shattering,
carnival show kind of way

He says his mouth is soapy and clean,
but it's oozing vile bubbles
into the harmonious air,
popping wicked bombs
all over the sticky land
of bubblegum hearts and fears

And I'm afraid his rubber soul
has been bouncing for way too long,
even the hungry lioness
is refusing his cliched charms
but hey, JC's no ordinary man
he's just a spoiled monkey
locked in a zoo
