Living eight blocks apart, who would've known?
Are friendship had started, but not yet shown.
Just barely 16 and enjoying the summer,
She just got her wisdom teeth pulled, what a bummer.

I would walk to her house everyday,
To see how she was feeling, and just to say "Hey!"
She looked like a chipmunk---you should've seen her cheeks,
But never the less she still seemed sweet.

When her mouth was all healed up and she was back in full health.
We became even closer and she told me all about herself.
Going to random peoples houses, and staying up late.
It was a crazy summer, but it sure was great.

We were both very much in love with the men of our dreams.Well, not really mean... boys, but you get what I mean.
Dominique caught her eye from the day that they met.
And me and Dylan were together almost 1 ½ years, but not quite yet.

We were attached at the hip, Jordy and Me.
Everyone one could tell, but no one could see,
That a best friend like her, so fun and sweet,
Was the kind of best friend that was impossible to beat.

I was there for her when she was sad!
She calmed me down when I was mad.
I wiped away her tears when she was depressed.
She tried to help me through Dylan issues when I was obsessed.

She is one of the most beautiful people I know.
From inside to out. From head to toe.
She makes everyone laugh even if it's hard,
Because she has enough to deal with, you can tell by the scars.

I must have done something wrong, because look at her now!
My best friend wants to kill herself, but why? How?
How can she leave all the people she loves?
Life isn't easy Jord, I know it is tough.

I know you don't agree with your parents,
And Dom isn't the best.
But I think about all the good times,
Not the rest.

Think about me when you're holding that knife to your throat.
Do you really want to do this? Come on, I know you don't!!!

You have to much of a future to let go.
What is out there for you? You'd never know.
A husband, a house, a great job, and kids.
Isn't it what you've always wanted? I know it is!

Jordanna I love you, your one of a kind.
You may not think clearly, but you're a best friend of mine.
Best friends don't leave one another no matter the cost.
You would be my worst tragedy, I would totally be lost.
