Giving up the fight

I'll say it one last time
before i leave for good
i loved you more than life
but you never understood

all those lonely nights
when i waited up for you
while you were having fun
doing all that you could do

put you ahead of me
put my whole life on hold
but you didn't even care
left me standing in the cold

you showed me true love
then you tore it all apart
you showed me just how
to break a loving heart

you could have had it all
but you threw it all away
washed your hands of me
and expected me to stay

but it can't be like that
i have to leave tonight
so I'm saying my goodbye
and I'm giving up the fight

    This is a really good poem! i can relate to it... deffinately 5/5
    Its not good when you love someone so much and they dont even care....and its also hard to let go....like i said i can relate to it...im actually going through something very similar to what i just read...And its not a very good feeling....
