The Beginning. [ Part Two ]

by Rosie.   Aug 2, 2006

Being seated at \"The Bean\", cigarette hanging as if it were a stalactite from the corner of my red lips, coffee cupped in my huge hands, I slowly watched the world of people go by. I stared at the many people strolling pass, getting on with their miserable lives, most wishing they were somewhere else, and some wishing they were dead. Im sitting here contemplating on what tasks I should involve myself in today, Im also sitting here, developing my gaydar, however, this proves to be a useless time to do so as, Im too involved with the task of spotting a girl I have arranged to meet.

Maybe it could be classed as a blind date, however, I am simply going to take it as an encounter, and nothing more can be assumed until after I have met her. Without warning of any form, she sat down, smile plastered from one side of her face to another, a hand shot out of the layers of her jumper, inviting me to shake, I accepted, at this point I knew that we both would be involved in some way or another, it was just a question of how deeply involved we could become, and when this encounter could arise.

The bond quickly developed between us, too quickly for my own liking in fact but still it did not bother me, however, it felt as if I had known her for years, maybe a long lost child hood friend, but I did not know her from a any previous memory. This continued to confuse me. Until, I finally gave up on the thought of knowing her previously and decided to get deeply involved in the conversation.

Our time of bonding lasted nine long hours, it felt like time from the world of normality had frozen and we had become wrapped up so tightly in the world in which we were participating in had completely separated from everyone else, it was only us.
