what i say is true
we have been through it all
good and bad times
usually followed by poetic lines
at times you're full of life
this side i sometimes like
other times you hate life
but either way put down the knife
some situations can be cured with a hug
but you're so young
for a grave to be dug
you had me promise
for me to be true
so I'm saying this with honesty
i want to stay friends with you
you're such a good friend
a shoulder to lend
and although times have flew
and visits and call cut to a few
please believe
i don't want you to leave
