Saying goodbye

by samantha miller   Aug 2, 2006

You took your last breath
that day at that corner
i thought i would die
seeing you laying there
with nothing in life left

it was not your fault
that, that car took,
that corner so fast

i knew you for ever
and i will still know you for ever
but there\\\'s one thing that changed
is that you are gone and i can\\\'t see
you expate for my heart.

so don\\\'t ever let friends
drink and drive

I like this poem. It reminds me of losses that I haven't gotten over. But it wasn't even about drinking and driving so that part I can't.
