Our Great Cause

by Jae   Aug 3, 2006

We were young
Careless,
Free,
Living for fun and life,
We knew not what awaited,
On that moonlit night.

Ready to dance and ready to laugh,
Anticipating fun,
We were running late and speeding,
Our ride had just begun.

Here we are now,
on the ground,
No more pain for us,
Our families torn,
Our friends depressed,
All is our great cause.

We cry out to God and ask him \"Why?\",
He lifts us up,
Gives us wings,
And points up to the sky...

He answers not,
But smiles
And gives a loving nod,
And as he disappears into the night,
We think of our great cause.

We are here with you when you cry,
We are here with you all the time,
We danced,
We sang,
We loved,
We laughed,
And then it came time to die...

We were here for a purpose,
Only of which God knows,
We served our duty to God and you,
But then it was time to go.

We are still here today,
Watching over you each year,
We will never leave completely,
For our memories will always be here.......

In Memory of Our Three Angels, Who Dance Forever in Heaven
