I've wanted to fight for you,
but she was always closer.
I thought you loved me,
but she was always in your heart.
I watched you two together,
but you denied your true feelings.
I seen your eyes light up when she came around,
but you said she was just a friend.
I felt the love between you two,
but you said it was just a friendly hug.
I walked away,
but your grabbed my hand.
I cried for you,
but you faked sympathy.
I slowly faded to dust,
but you just ignored my nothingness.
I wished you'd loved me too,
but you just wished me away.
I faked happiness,
but you were happy with her.
I watched you two joke for hours,
but you said it was just old friends coming close again.
I watched my heart turn to ash,
but you just walked right by it.
I sang myself to sleep,
but you just stared at her picture.
I gave you letters,
but you just tore them up.
I wrote you poems,
but you said they're good & thanks.
I waited for her to walk by,
but you walked by with her.
I fought for your love,
but you pushed me aside.
I wished I could turn to a dying roses,
but you just watch me wilt to death.
