Proper good-bye?

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Aug 3, 2006

And i lay here wrapped up in your blanket of lies
wishing for a better tomorrow, dwelling in memories of the past
tossing and turning as my heart beats underneath your old sweater
and my legs tremble under your old sweatpants
and pictures are scattered across my floor
encased with crimson tears from beyond these blue eyes
rocking back and forth with a bottle to my head
and a bullet in my hand..engraved with your name
and there is no such thing as father & daughter anymore
as i lay here humming the words to rock-a-bye-baby
and alls i wanted was a proper good-bye...

Very touching. His clothes were still with you even though he was gone. :)
