IF WALLS COULD TALK.

by AMANDA M   Aug 3, 2006

These walls hold my secrets
That only those within know.
How long can they keep it
Especially with the opened window.
Behind closed windows
Behind closed doors.
It will tell my illness
And that you were the only cure.
If the walls could talk
It would say all it know.
It would say that
Thinking about you makes me glow.
If it would open
It's eyes and see.
And that you would always be
The one for me.
It would tell two people
Making wonderful memories.
These walls weren't
Hesitate to tell.
When we lay lying
When we fell.
If wall had eyes
It would see the love inside.
It would see me in your arms
Filled with ecstasy that can't hide.
When I'm feeling tired
You give me wings.
When I hear no violins
You play my every string.
When the fire has no heat
You light it up again.
When I'm burnt out and weak
You heal my every pain.
To stop the press
Hold the news.
The secrets are safe
Between me and you.
If walls could talk
They would say I want you more.
They wouldn't hesitate to say
I never felt like this before.
If only the walls could talk
They'll tell you I'm dying.
Whenever you're not mine
My heart can't seem to stop crying.
