Let Go

Why would you do that to yourself?
How could you sink so low?
You're not the only one with problems
You need to just let things go
Everything happens for a reason
What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger
But you're wasting your life pitying yourself
Because you "Can't take it any longer"
Well I've been there too,you're not alone
Everyone gets depressed, some worse than others
But i deeply care about you,more than you could know
Hopefully this makes you feel better
But that is up to you so,
Make this have a happy ending
And I'll help you along the way
We'll battle this together
By your side I will always stay

(I wrote this for a friend who is very depressed. i just wanted to show him i went through it too. this is the first poem i posted on here. hope you like it!!)
