The Girl who was left alone

by capnoats   Aug 3, 2006

The Moon, cascading over her face,
She bows her head, her heart begins to race,
The light pours through her blinds, white
Forming vivid pools, a haunting sight,
Shes warm but cold, freezing yet hot,
Her body is throbbing but her mind is not,
She stares at the ground, dusty and dirty,
She knew she could be here until she was thirty,
The moments go slow, the clock doesn't move,
She hears the night sounds and begins to soothe,
She drops the letter from her right hand,
Tears pour from her eyes, she doesn't understand,
Shes read it twice, maybe more than that,
She slowly gets up from the spot that shes sat,
Her body doesn't want to move, but she has to,
She scrupled the letter, it was the last i love you,
She drops the scissors and the knife,
She realizes that she would never make his wife,
She ponders on the paper which now lay in the bin,
It wasn't a its over, she feels full of sin,
Why did he have to leave, choose there from here?
She wishes she could just disappear,
More tears appear as she realizes its the end,
but why did she do this. act this way the reason would depend,
maybe if she had just talked to him, he would stay,
But now it was too late, the deed had been done,
Shed swapped the knife for the now smoking gun,
Stuck what to do, which way to go,
Shed never love again or she thought so,
Shed be nothing without him, nothing at all.
But now shes nothing - her blood on the wall,
Then he bursts in, with a " ill stay."
he realizes whats happened,
soon on the ground too, hell lay.
