Forgiven

It's hard to take back words
that should have been said
and give a sincere 'sorry'
in their place
take in the winter's chill
breathe out without breathing at all
does that make me dead
watching the stars fall?
I wrote for you to find me
but found no answer
I miss you even when you're with me
the words you can't say
spill out from your eyes
telling me you're 'sorry' too
oh, so very sorry
for being the lie of my life
