Fatal Words Can Sign Death Sentences

by xxkurtcobainxx   Aug 4, 2006

Words can kill no matter what they say
They break the bed on which I lay
They slice the skin and rip the beads
A flower of hate, they plant all the seeds

For dark expressions can be so cruel
To light a fire you have to have fuel
A match that ignites, watch the small flame
Everything that happens is always the same

The last thing you see will be my eyes
No one will remember or hear your cries
The hurt cannot be buried down deep
It was gone for a while, but it's no longer asleep

Your time of death will soon be here
The clock is ticking, have a beer
Enjoy your last moments while you still can
Because no one will discover the where or when

You didn't even realize you broke my heart
You weren't in the show, but you still had a part
Words can be fatal, don't ever forget
Because now you're dead, there is no regret

I'm not sorry because neither were you
I know someday I'll end up dead too
But I passed judgment, and you deserved it all
You stand on the bridge, and watched as I fall

Blood comes easier off the knife then the skin
You're not around to stick in the needle or pin
A slashed purple vein, and a crimson glove
Ironic you're the only one I could ever love

This is a very good dark poem, and uses terms unknown before this. Great work!
