Once trusted

I think I know him
Im confirmed Im mistaken
So I attempt to forget him
And the trust he has taken
I remember some memories
And advice he provided
But I still aim to forget
Because it’s what Ive decided
I cant handle people
Because I know they will deceive
You promised not to hurt me
And so I believed

From what I had feared
In my earliest view
I’m still surprised
I was betrayed by you
As of all the people
I have ever known
You were one of the last
I suspected to leave me alone
But my judgement was unsatisfactory
For I turned out to be wrong
But thanks to you, I have a life
