Beautiful

Like a shiny, silver needle
Youre deeper than my skin
Like the medicine it gives
Soothing right within
Like a pain relieving aspirin
You help to clear my head
Theres only you to think of
And all those things you said
Like a phoenix burning strongly
Healing when it cries
A magical lasting signal
Lighting up my sky
I wouldnt have these things
If I couldnt be with you
Could mistake you for an angel
For helping me pull through
Like a candle in the night
Enabling me to see
Aiding me through darkness
Always guarding me
Like a delicate, warming flame
That I never want to smother
You havent lost your beauty
From lighting up another
That other being me
I will always be in your debt
The most tender, perfect rose
The most beautiful Ive ever met.

I really like the verse, "Like a delicate, warming flame that I never want to smother. You haven't lost your beauty from lighting up another." Great job!!! 5/5! And thanx for your comments!

Great! I almost started crying! I've never done drugs (which I'm guessing is part of this poem, but I can still see a great mental image! try checking out some of my stuff!
