Occuring Definitions

Loneliness
Time ticking away
Black roses in bouquet
Prayers in decay
Just a shimmering array

Memories
Faces left in light
Smiles too trite
Tears start to ignite
A woeful soft plight

Dreams
Plastered escape to bliss
Yet illusions are amiss
Tense reality still exists
Painful reminisce

Sadness
Drinking blood from veins
Veils of skin remains
Eternal frown reigns
Soul bound to chains

Darkness
Trespassing another world
A new cold fear unfurled
Icy blood twirled
The angel is hurled

Death
A word of numb reactions
With some mysterious affections
Nightly Cult-filled devotions
Falling through recollections

I liked the short stanzas. They were short, yes, but filled with deep emotion. The rhymes were amazing! I really liked this one. =) 5/5 xoxo

Wow, this was a really good poem. It actually seemed like 6 different short poems in one. Each verse being a poem with it's own title. Really cool and very creative. Well done!

Loved how you took one word and described it with perfect rhymes. Each one got darker as the poem went on. Don't know what else to say. One of my more favorite ones though (Watch out for those down voters)
