Fear Itself

by Cheyanne   Aug 5, 2006

Fear itself walks the halls,
it beckons for attention

it's alive,
conscious,
motivated.

our cliques provide comfort,
yet spark from fear

our lockers are our lives,
locked from the outside light...
open only in shadow,
slammed when betrayed

fear itself walks in us all,
waiting for an outlet

homophobia,
racism,
name it.

all, from fear within us
all, for fear around us
