The attack continues

by Eric   Aug 5, 2006

Darkness settles on my soul
I hear the angels scream
You've hurt me once again my dear
This has got to be a dream

Your sinful partner played his game
Like an expert, like a king
He's made you look just like a tramp
With this filthy weekend fling

Your selfishness is shocking me
But I'm sure you'll have your fun
There's just one thing that's nagging me
Won't you miss your son?

You've shamed our love, you've shame our child
You've stabbed me in the back
You didn't have to break off the blade
During the attack

You've stolen all the love I had
Our friendship you have crushed
It seems you won't be satisfied
Until I'm turned to dust

My anger grows with each disgrace
You bury in my heart
Depression, loss, and loneliness
Is tearing me apart

How could you destroy a love so grand
A friendship deep and true
And tear apart our family
I haven't got a clue

How much more will you unleash
Before you make me crack
You almost killed me once my love
But I passed out from the Jack
