What I'd Do

To take the pain from your broken soul,

I'd bleed into the snow of forgotten dreams.

I long to capture your essence inside my mind,

And keep it forever apart of me.

I'd follow your cries across the sands of time

Fighting against the pelting rain.

To keep you from knowing love's misery,

I'd take into me all your pain.

If you were to cry, my heart would break

For to see you hurt is my agony.

I'd rather die to make you smile

Than live knowing you were in misery.
