If only you knew just how much I care,

And see how it pains me to not be there.

I could never hurt you or cause you pain,

I only wish to wipe your tears away.

I would never deceive you or tell you lies,

For you help to make me feel like I'm alive.

If ill words of you ever left my lips,

To take them back would be my only wish.

I made mistakes, but tried to set things right,
