A lost friend

My friend is lost and she needs help
she feels like no one can feel the pain she's felt
i tell her I'm here and i understand
but in her head she feels no one can
it hurts to look at those cuts she has
but i cant tell her that they are bad
because i know that i have them to and after i saw hers my cuts grew
she is falling away and I'm trying to pull her up
but here i am stuck in the same rut
so we stay here all alone
hiding our cuts so the don't show

    This is a pretty good poem. It's heart breaking when friends do this. One of my best friends cuts & I'm an ex-cutter, I've given people advice on it, but my friend never ask for any, but I don't think she knows I once did the same thing. But all you can do is maybe, promise her, if she stops cutting you will too. That might make her feel like someone knows what she's going through.

    I Know how you feel i have friends like that but i don't cut my self thought but they do alot and i try to help but they think i don't understand
