It pains me to see
The hurt in her eyes.
The affliction that has been cast
cannot be reversed.
I want to be her saviour
But alas I cannot.
For the dagger in her heart
still remains.
Nothing can heal this mortal wound
except for time.
Ill stay by her side for all eternity
just to see the hole close.
This is a poem to a friend
from a friend who desires more.
A friend Ill stay until the anguish
is gone.
For a friend is all I ever am
A friend Ill always be
Until this Pain subsides inside of
me.
