I miss you luke!

Each day passes
with the terror in his eyes
little things out of proportion
that block his normal sight
but theres no need to worry boy,
the sentence isnt long,
but in the time that your gone,
we have got to be strong,
we will all miss you,
your laugh your smile and more,
i will pray for you every night,
until your back just like before..

*this poem was written for my brother in law who went to jail 2 months after his son was born.. we all miss you luke and we cant wait to see you home again.. love you*
