Flashback
As I shake and try to cling to the phone
As memories flood
And a heavy southern drawl creates panic
My deepest fear revealed with just a whispered "hello"

And stay calm or at least don't cry
As widespread panic takes affect
Just stay calm and whisper
"Daddy's in the shower"
And this time that's no lie

And so fast horror replaced by anger
As my hand wants to slam down the phone
Slam shut his voice
Like every window in my life he left locked
Leave him lonely with no one to scare but a dial tone
But he calls himself my grandpa-
And I can't just hang up..
