Words In One - 06/08/2006

What do you do,
When theres something hiding?
When you know somethings not right?
When your sliding?

When you can only talk to one person,
And at times they don't understand,
Or you think the don't,
But you still reach for their hand.

What do you do,
When you feel fire burning,
Inside of your body?
And the world keeps turning.

Burning your light inside,
Hiding away,
From everything around,
You start to see gray.

You want to tell the world,
How you feel,
Ask just one question,
And you don't know how to deal.

Words come to mind,
But you quite cant get them out,
You think that your the problem,
Scared no one will hear you shout.

You feel confused,
Its sitting there,
At the end of your tongue,
All you feel you can do is prepare.

Words come out,
Not the ones you want,
Not what you really want to say,
Cigarettes in the astray.

Smoke covers the air,
As your write all these words,
But you don't no if its what you want,
So you try for thirds.

Is it me,
Them? have I changed?
Or is there something in the air,
It feels deranged.

And as you start to get to the end,
You start to feel better,
But still you know its not the word you wanted,
So many words to make one, like a letter.
